Event Policies & Terms

Welcome to C4, Carpet City Card Convention, proudly hosted by Battlegrounds Games & Comics in partnership with the Dalton Trade Center.

Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and professional event for collectors, vendors, exhibitors, guests, sponsors, and attendees of all ages.

By purchasing VIP admission, registering as a vendor, participating in, or attending the C4, Carpet City Card Convention ("C4"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Event Policies & Terms.


Intellectual Property

The C4 Carpet City Card Convention name, logo, branding, graphics, website content, promotional materials, and related intellectual property are owned or licensed by Battlegrounds Games & Comics.

No individual or business may reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use C4 branding without prior written permission from Event Management.

Unauthorized use of the C4 name or branding in advertising, merchandise, promotions, or sponsorships is prohibited.

Ticket & Admission Policy

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or if the event is officially canceled by Event Management.

Admission tickets may not be duplicated, altered, or fraudulently transferred.

C4 reserves the right to cancel fraudulent purchases, correct pricing errors, and refuse admission to anyone presenting an invalid ticket.

Lost or stolen tickets cannot be guaranteed replacement.

Admission includes access only during the published event hours for the ticket purchased.

Event schedules, guest appearances, vendors, attractions, tournaments, and programming are subject to change without notice. Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

Children under the published admission age, when applicable, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Event Changes & Cancellation

Event Management reserves the right to modify event hours, floor layouts, programming, vendors, attractions, guests, tournaments, parking arrangements, and venue logistics whenever necessary for operational or safety reasons.

Should circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Event Management require cancellation, postponement, relocation, or modification of the event, C4 shall not be responsible for travel expenses, lodging expenses, lost profits, or other incidental damages incurred by attendees, vendors, or exhibitors.

Code of Conduct

C4 is committed to providing an inclusive, family-friendly, and respectful environment.

The following behavior is prohibited:

  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind.

  • Physical violence or threats of violence.

  • Intimidation, stalking, or unwanted physical contact.

  • Offensive, abusive, or disruptive behavior toward attendees, vendors, guests, volunteers, security personnel, venue staff, or event staff.

  • Theft, fraud, or deceptive business practices.

  • Damage to venue property or another person's property.

  • Conduct that interferes with the safe operation or enjoyment of the event.

Harassment or threatening behavior occurring through social media or other online platforms before, during, or after the event that directly impacts the safety or operation of C4 may also be considered a violation of these policies.

Event Management reserves the right to remove any individual from the event without refund.

Safety & Security

The safety of our attendees, vendors, and staff is our highest priority.

Attendees and vendors must comply with all instructions provided by Event Management, venue personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and security staff.

Event Management reserves the right to inspect bags, containers, or personal property when reasonably necessary to promote the safety and security of the event.

Anyone refusing to comply with reasonable safety measures may be denied entry or removed from the event.

Photography & Media Release

Photography, video recording, livestreaming, interviews, and media coverage may occur throughout the event.

By entering C4, you grant Battlegrounds Games & Comics, C4 Carpet City Card Convention, its partners, sponsors, and authorized media representatives permission to capture and use your image, likeness, voice, and appearance in photographs, videos, livestreams, advertisements, promotional materials, websites, and social media without compensation or further notice.

Vendor & Exhibitor Policies

Vendor space is reserved upon acceptance of the vendor application and receipt of payment.

Event Management reserves the right to approve, deny, relocate, or revoke vendor participation at its discretion when necessary to protect event operations, attendee safety, or the integrity of the event.

Vendor spaces may not be subleased, reassigned, or resold without prior written approval.

Displays must remain entirely within the assigned booth space and may not obstruct aisles, neighboring booths, emergency exits, or venue access points.

Vendors are responsible for maintaining a clean, professional display and complying with all venue regulations.

Early teardown is strongly discouraged. Vendors who begin dismantling displays before the published closing time without approval from Event Management may lose priority consideration for future events.

Vendor Cancellation Policy

Vendor cancellations submitted at least thirty (30) days before the event are eligible for a refund less a ten percent (50%) administrative fee.

Vendor cancellations received fewer than thirty (30) days before the event are non-refundable.

Vendor no-shows forfeit all payments.

If Event Management cancels a vendor reservation due to fraud, inaccurate registration information, policy violations, or operational necessity, any refund shall be determined solely at the discretion of Event Management.

Merchandise Policy

C4 is committed to maintaining a trustworthy marketplace for collectors.

Vendors may not knowingly display or sell:

  • Counterfeit merchandise.

  • Altered or fraudulently represented collectibles.

  • Unauthorized reproductions.

  • Illegal merchandise.

  • Stolen property.

  • Merchandise prohibited by applicable law.

Event Management reserves the right to require the removal of merchandise believed to violate these policies.

Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

C4 does not authenticate collectibles, trading cards, sealed products, autographs, artwork, or memorabilia.

All purchases are solely between the buyer and seller.

Trading Policy

Trading among attendees is encouraged.

However, trading activities must not:

  • Block aisles.

  • Disrupt vendors.

  • Create unsafe gathering areas.

  • Interfere with event operations.

Event Management may designate specific trading areas and may relocate or restrict trading activities when necessary.

Prohibited Items

Unless otherwise authorized by law or approved by Event Management, the following items are prohibited:

  • Illegal weapons.

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances.

  • Fireworks or explosives.

  • Open flames.

  • Hazardous materials.

  • Drones or remote aircraft.

  • Any item determined to present a safety risk.

Animals

Only trained service animals, as defined by applicable law, are permitted inside the event unless otherwise approved by Event Management or the venue.

Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Property

Attendees, vendors, and exhibitors are responsible for safeguarding their own property.

Neither C4 Carpet City Card Convention, Battlegrounds Games & Comics, the Dalton Trade Center, sponsors, partners, volunteers, nor staff shall be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

Liability

Attendance and participation at C4 are voluntary and at your own risk.

By attending the event, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with public gatherings.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, C4 Carpet City Card Convention, Battlegrounds Games & Comics, the Dalton Trade Center, event sponsors, volunteers, contractors, partners, exhibitors, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for personal injury, property damage, theft, loss, business interruption, vendor disputes, or incidental or consequential damages arising from attendance or participation in the event.

Force Majeure

Event Management shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, governmental actions, labor disputes, utility failures, acts of terrorism, civil disturbances, or other unforeseen events.

Right to Refuse Service

Event Management reserves the right to refuse admission, remove any attendee, vendor, exhibitor, guest, or participant, or cancel participation when these policies are violated or when conduct threatens the safety, security, operations, reputation, or enjoyment of the event.

Decisions made by Event Management regarding policy enforcement are final.

Privacy

Information collected during ticket purchases, vendor registration, sponsorship applications, or event participation will be used for event operations, customer service, communications, and event administration.

Information may be shared with venue management, payment processors, law enforcement, government agencies, or other third parties only when required by law or reasonably necessary to operate the event.
